We will examine contemporary and art historical models for shaping ideas into fully realized paintings and learn how to apply these lessons to our own practice. From fresco cycles to epic studio constructed landscapes to non-objective painting the process of taking a work from concept through the stages of realization has been a concern for painters regardless of era, geography or style.
